A Slumber Party with Your Best Friends

What's better than spending the day with your friends?

Getting to spend the night.

At Sonoma Dog Camp, sleep overs are a natural extension of Camp life. Our overnight guests aren't arriving at a strange place full of unfamiliar dogs. They're coming back to a place they already know, with dogs they've already made friends with.

After a full day of Camp activities, our overnight guests settle in for the evening in our comfortable, home-style sleepover area.

And yes, there's a human staying with them all night. Someone has to manage the bedtime routine, handle the occasional late-night potty break, and decide what's on television.

First, We Get to Know Each Other

Sleep overs are reserved for established Campers who have attended at least ten days of daycare and completed a successful trial sleep over.

That way, everyone has a chance to become comfortable with the people, dogs, and routines before spending the night.

Whether you're going away for a night, a weekend, or a longer vacation, your dog gets to stay somewhere familiar.

Baths

Good Clean Fun

A day of playing with friends can leave a dog looking—and smelling—like a dog who's had a very good time.

We're happy to help with that.

Add a bath to your Camper's day, and we'll have your dog freshened up before it's time to head home.

Our bath service includes shampoo, conditioner, a hand blow-dry, nail trim, and herbal ear wash.

Training

Good Manners Never Go Out of Style

Camp is a place to have fun, but that doesn't mean good manners go out the window.

Every day, our staff reinforce the little things that make life with dogs more enjoyable: sitting before going through doors, walking nicely on a leash, and keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting people.

We believe good habits are worth practicing, even when there's a yard full of friends waiting to play.

A Little Extra Help

Sometimes a dog needs more than a friendly reminder. That's where our friends at Sonoma Dog Training come in.

We work with Belinda Head, whose thoughtful approach to training complements our own philosophy.

Belinda offers two programs designed especially for Campers:

Camp Ready?

A little preparation can go a long way. This program helps prospective Campers practice the behaviors they'll need for a successful evaluation and introduction to Camp.

Adventure Day Training

A full day of professional training at Sonoma Dog Training's facility, with your dog beginning and ending the day at Camp. An overnight stay may also be arranged.

Because learning good manners and having a good time shouldn't be mutually exclusive.
